Rigid Engineering Consultants was commissioned by Banque Misr to strengthen an existing building to meet the structural and operational requirements of a Tier 2 data centre. The scope of work involved detailed structural assessments, load evaluations, and the design of strengthening measures to support the increased demands associated with data centre equipment, elevated floor loads, and vibration control criteria. The retrofit ensured full compliance with performance and safety standards, enabling the facility to operate reliably under the specialized conditions required for data centre infrastructure.

Rigid Engineering Consultants provides continuous structural design support to top-tier contracting companies in Saudi Arabia, including the Saudi Binladin Group and Al Shawaaf Group, as well as global tower crane manufacturers such as Wolffkran. The firm’s scope covers the design and verification of key temporary structures—such as tower crane foundations, tie-in systems, and bracing assemblies—across multiple large-scale developments including the Wadi Laban Cable Bridge Project in riyadh, SEVEN Entertainment Park in Dammam, and SEVEN Entertainment Park in Al Khobar , Rua Al Madinah in Al Madinah.

“The Snow Park Ski Slope is one of the landmark attractions within the Dammam Development project in Saudi Arabia, designed to offer an all-season indoor snow experience. The facility features a distinctive elevated structure formed by two bridge systems and a complex steel framework resting on reinforced concrete piers, creating the sloped platform that carries the ski track and associated facilities.

Rigid Engineering Consultants was appointed to carry out the structural design verification for the project, covering all concrete components associated with the strand-jacking system, including slabs, core walls, foundations, and piles. The review extended to both the temporary (jacking) and permanent structural stages, ensuring integrity, serviceability, and construction feasibility. In addition, Rigid conducted a comprehensive value-engineering exercise aimed at optimizing material use, improving constructability, and enhancing overall structural performance in line with project safety and durability standards.
